Britain's leader plans to press partner nations to provide Ukrainian forces with further advanced missile systems to hit enemy locations during discussions in Britain on this Friday.

The prime minister will host Ukraine's leader Zelensky alongside the so-called "coalition of the willing", comprising over twenty of supporting nations who have agreed to offer Ukraine defense assurances once a ceasefire is brokered.

Ukraine's president has been appealing for weeks for more advanced missile technology from allied countries, an action that the Russian government has warned would escalate the hostilities.

Ukraine's leader is travelling from the EU capital, where he held talks with EU leaders on yesterday pursuing financial support.
